assalamu alikum ,myself Ijaz from Singapore ,during my college days i go in tabligh,i was imprssed by them ,but whn i entered the world of internet ,initially i added guys in my name then with beard ,then tabligh guys etc ,many times i result in confict with tabligh brothers in internet ,i still remember one guy who is still not replying to even my salam,sry my prblm is I still go in tabligh ,i graduated my M.S in Mech engg in NUS Singapore ,i applied for phd,so tablighibrother's taskeel me for 4 months so i went for 4 months,but i lost my phd i didnt get admission,thn tablighi brothers said ALLAH will giv better than this and alsobe with your beard ,but still now i cant find job even i have good academics and also my parents r complaining that it is because of my beard im not getting job ,people say ALLAH test you,why he has to test me and put me in depression by not giving success ,i stopped even praying salat ,i listen to music,if people say everything happens by ALLAh,then me not praying salat and listening music is also from ALLAH,then how can i get ppl say ALLAH loves me when he puts me in doing sin ?

you wanted to hear music, so you are hearing. you wanted to leave prayer , so you leaving your prayer.

You cant get job by yourself , so you arent getting it.

Do your things(prayer and stay away from sin) , let Allah decide when He will help you and how with what.

Sometimes, when a person begins to turn towards the dunya and begins to forget about Allah, Allah will take the dunya from him so that the man has nowhere to go but back to his Allah. This is not a punishment, this is a mercy, and the person who experiences this type of hardship should be grateful.

In your case, Allah is calling you to turn towards Him by depriving you of the worldly things you deem important. And rather than turning to your Allah and, thanking Him, praising Him, and Honoring Him - you turned your back on Him, and gave up salat.

Another thing that sometimes happens is Allah will give masses of the dunya to a person - they will be rich and successful, but they will have no Iman - This is a punishment from Allah. The more love for the Dunya the person acquires, the farther they run away from Allah.

Success is from Allah - what you will do with your life and what portion of wealth is alotted to you has already been decided and written down - Nothing you can do can increase or decrease that which Allah has given you. Now you have two choices, 1) you can pout and wine and moan about that which Allah has given you in this world, and by doing so you will forsake the bounty which Allah has waiting for you in the next. Or 2) You can be grateful to Allah for what he has given to you, you can be pleased with Al Hakim for having the wisdom to give you what he has, you can thank Allah that you have a Mechanical Engineering degree - something a Muslim in Mogadishu would love to even have the opportunity to have.

Be grateful, Allah has not turned his back on you, Allah is still asking for you to turn towards him for your success - the choice to submit to your Rub or run away from your Rub is up to you.

In al-Saheehayn it was reported from Ibn ‘Abbaas that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say, when he felt distressed:

And it was reported from Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say, when something upset him:

“Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoom, bi Rahmatika astagheeth (O Ever-Living One, O Everlasting One, by Your mercy I seek help).”

And it was reported that Asmaa’ bint ‘Umays (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me: “Shall I not teach you some words to say when you feel distressed? ‘Allaah, Allaah, Rabbee laa ushriku bihi shay’an (Allaah, Allaah, my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him).’”

It was reported from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “No person suffers any anxiety or grief, and says:

‘Allaahumma innee ‘abduka wa ibn ‘abdika wa ibn amatika, naasiyati bi yadika, maadin fiyya hukmuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadaa’uka, as’aluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka aw anzaltahu fi kitaabika aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika aw ista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilm il-ghaybi ‘andak an taj’ala al-Qur’aana rabee’ qalbi wa noor sadri wa jalaa’a huzni wa dhahaaba hammi

(O Allaah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your female slave, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every Name belonging to You which You named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety)’

- but Allaah will take away his sorrow and grief, and give him in their stead joy.”

Don't worry brother. I dont know what exactly to tell you. Because whenever you hear advice you will think we dont understand your problems. So when I say I can understand your situation dont think I m just making it up. In fact I m drowned in many problems myself.
But brother such trials and troubles should bring us closer to Allah. Its the whisperings of Shaytan thats making you stop Salah and listen to music.! Remind yourself about the torture our Prophet (saw) went through for years and years. He never stopped trying and had faith in Allah.

Allah has said in the Quran:
When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls they say:
“In what (plight) were ye?” They reply: “Weak and oppressed were we in the earth.”
They say: “Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (from evil)?” Such men will find their abode in Hell - what an evil refuge! (4:97)
So Stick to your Salah and Quran. InshAllah all your worries will be solved. Be patient. Remember when we were kids we always used to go to parents if we get into trouble. Well Allah loves his slave more than a mother loves her child. So Make Dua ALWAYS.

Make this Dua Always.

Hasbunallahu wa ni'amal wakeel
[Allah (Alone) is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs (for us).] (3:173)
This Dua was Made by Prophet Ibrahim (as) when he was thrown into the fire, Thereupon, Allah made the fire to be cool, safe, and peaceful for Prophet Ibrahim (as).

Also Always ask for Allah's Mercy. He is the most Merciful.:
