He was Hanbali.

I don't know much about his Kitab Tawhid, so I can't say much about it.

Personally, it seems he has been overrated by both sides.

The Salafis treat him like a prophet, while some others treat him like a dajjal or shaytan. It seems like the truth lies in between those absolute extremes.
