ShirkThey call on other than Allah. Ya Ali! They have their fake well where they believe the mahdi is hiding. They make dua to him. Shirk Akbar.
For example: pious ancestors, dead persons, saints etc. Some say that praying or supplicating to them does not necessarily mean worshipping them. However, Islam stresses that praying or supplicating to something or someone is actually worshipping. (Refer to Tafsir Al Mu'minum:60) http://www.missionislam.com/knowledge/Shirk.htm "13-He causes the night to pass into the day and the day into the night, and He has made the sun and the moon to serve you; each one follows its course for an appointed term. Such is Allah, your Rabb; His is the kingdom; and those to whom you pray besides Him do not even own a thread of a date-stone. 14-If you pray to them they cannot hear your prayers and even if they could hear you they could not answer you. On the Day of Resurrection they will deny your associating them with Allah. O mankind! None can inform you about all this except the One Who is All-Aware." Surah Al-Fatir Ayah 13-14. Calling Companions Kufars "Allah forgave the Prophet and those Muhajir and the Ansar who stood by him in the time of distress, when some were on the point of losing heart. He turned to them in mercy. Surely to them He is Most Kind, Most Merciful." -Surah Al-Tawbah Ayah 117 Allah has clearly talked about the Sahabah and the Ansar. And that He has forgiven them. i.e. They're muslims. "A share of the spoils shall be given to the indigent Muhajirin (immigrants) who were driven out of their homes and their possessions, and are seeking Allah's grace and His good pleasure and who want to help Allah and His Rasool: such are indeed the true believers." Surah Al-Hashr Ayah 8 Allah has clearly stated that they are Muslims. He didn't say Murtadden. The prophet SAW said: Volume 8, Book 73, Number 71: Narrated Abu Dhar: That he heard the Prophet saying, "If somebody accuses another of Fusuq (by calling him 'Fasiq' i.e. a wicked person) or accuses him of Kufr, such an accusation will revert to him (i.e. the accuser) if his companion (the accused) is innocent." ( Sahih Bukhari) |
