After that i intend to become a teaching assistant for maybe a year or two. Then inshallah i wll be applying for a p.g.c.e or a gtp (realistically a gtp). i want to learn from anyone

i was a research assistant after i graduated. (i am an engineer).
are these qualifications that you mentioned (gtp and pgce) required to teach?
with us its like get masters degree, become a lecturer, get PhD become an assistant prof.
is it different in your field?
