In the title of Islam By Hazrat Maulana Yunus Patel Saheb (رَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَلَيْهِ ) 'There is just a vomiting in society that has now reached crisis proportions. It's therefore severe that it takes a duplication in its warnings to operate a vehicle the purpose home. Fitnahs abound, and the most dangerous and worst fitnah is what takes the shape and garb of Deen. In the title and guise of Deen, Muslims are now being asked to 'Fund-raising' programs, dinners, meals, pre-Ramadaan and Eid Fairs. Resources are now being raised for Deeni tasks in this way. The framework of those programs is 'Fun' and 'Entertainment' which involves mingling. The Muslim is urged to create along mother, kids, partner and sisters. It is considered by people as Ibaadah (praise), something virtuous, because this is in the title of Deen. It's possible to evaluate how serious the problem is. The individual isn't likely to make Taubah with this. He's perhaps not going to think about the intermingling and the mingling as sinful, because the function is marketed as some thing deserving and 'Halaal', and because the request is from people and businesses which are addressing Deen, and whom it's estimated, might know better in regards to what is Haraam and Halaal. 'Exactly what a type of innovation! That Ummah which loathed Haraam, which remained significantly from what is uncertain, Today doesn't have concern involving in Haraam.' Even when an 'Aalim is involved with such actions or promoting such programs and sometimes appears at such locations, this doesn't make Haraam, Halaal. This is actually the weakness of the 'Aalim. There are therefore many who are deendaar and they know much better than to wait such programmes; their minds can give them the fatwa : 'Do not move' then why however go? Thereafter issues are offered of the immodest attire of the girls, the intermingling of sexes, the disturbing situation of the childhood, etc. This is actually the lure of shaytaan and nafs! Therefore the individual is participating the nafs in Haraam enjoyment, looking at such girls (or vice versa) and destroying one's heart with evil dreams. People who have ta-alluk with Deen and have ta-alluk with the Mashaa`ik, should show their sincerity and piety by restraining themselves from such evils. The purchase and teaching of Shariah is : 'IT IS NOT ALLOWABLE TO SHOW UP IN A GATHERING WHERE ALLAH TA'ALA HAS BEEN DISOBEYED.' Mullah Ali Qaari (Rahmatullahi 'alaih) has described Hayaa (modesty) as : 'The Haqeeqat (truth) of Hayaa is that your Maula mustn't find you in that position which He's forbidden.' Or indulging for the reason that which He's forbidden. Features and such activities bring one near to Zina (infidelity). Allah Ta'ala says: 'AND COME PERHAPS not CLOSE TO ZINA. VERILY IT'S A Embarrassing AND EVIL PATH' [Surah Al-Isra 17 : 32] Such capabilities market Zina of the eyes, while it's from the Commandments of Allah Ta'ala that people reduce our gazes from taking a look at ghair-mahareem. Allah Ta'ala handles both believing men and believing women: 'TELL THE THINKING GUYS TO REDUCE THEIR LOOK (FROM TAKING A LOOK AT WHAT IS HARAAM) AND TO BE MODERATE AND TELL THE THINKING GIRLS TO REDUCE THEIR LOOK (FROM TAKING A LOOK AT WHAT IS BANNED) AND TO BE NOT AND MODERATE TO SHOWCASE THEIR BEAUTY [Surah Nur 24 : 29/ 30] Young men have written in my experience and have described very clearly that their motives in frequenting such capabilities, festivals and programs is for no other purpose but to appreciate the ladies. Some have also described drawing Haraam enjoyment by intentionally touching these ladies in the group (Na-uzu Billahi minute zaalik) and they are our children or mothers or sisters or nieces who are subjected to lustful looks and touching, if these aren't our wives. Then when it's clearly apparent these programs and festivals are from the Pleasure of Allah Ta'ala, we could stop ourselves and our people even when we can't stop others.'
