Bangladesh ( the former East Bengal ) is truly an exceptional place in which a significant number of sufi saints ( also known as Pir or Darwesh ) spread Islam.. They've left out a rich heritage. Towns and several towns are called after these good people such as for instance Syedpur, Faridpur, Madaripur an such like. However you can find real sufi shaykhs who support the real light of Tasawwuf though you can see several phony Pir and their deviant fans,. Recently, I've found an excellent bayan of Shaykh Fultali (RAH) who had been a popular saint in Bangladesh. You can observe his great bayan in this link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nyk4Y...eature=related The religious lineage of this great man is described in this line. http://www.sunniforum.com/forum/show...ykhs-in-Bengal
