Default Description of Ṣaḥābī?
Can there be an agreed-upon definition of why is a Ṣaḥābī to some one? Demonstrably they'd to be followers. Did they've to be good friends with Rasūl Allāh ﷺ, i.e. they were mixed up in Muslim community? Or could it be enough that the Prophet was only briefly met by them once? Obviously there have been 50 or 60 notable buddies. But perhaps there have been "lesser companions" beyond that?
