Asalaamu Alaikum, I was asked with a nonmuslim about the size of great actions and how some ahadith reveal that some functions of worship are worth X times more if done in a specific way (the price of Salah for instance is considered increased if done in the mosque). Whilst the students say that every work is likely to be considered at its true worth, and that we're to think in the truth of the size I am aware. Allah states in the qur'an: he whose scales consider weightier shall have a happy existence, but he whose size weighs light, his shall function as the deep hole for a (101:6-9). Does this imply that one whose scale is "heavy" in good deeds defines success, but then hell is what he gets (naudhubillah) if his scale is gentle in good deeds (large in poor)? That's, is this merely painting the image of the size of the individual with much more good/bad actions than the other type (ergo, "heavy" or "light", not only "more" or "less"), or does this make reference to one side coming to all weightier than the other? Ostensibly, regarding one's destiny in the akhirah, would you please stage me toward what the students have said about what precisely it's we've to think the scales show? Just to provide the correct situation, I think the questioner may take the style that one who has somewhat more poor actions than great goes to hell, but is stressed by the thought of one going to heaven or hell by for instance having one more good/bad action than another, but I don't understand how "heavy" or "light" is precisely to be recognized and wish to return to him. JazakumAllah khair for the time!
