Default Ijaazah in Qur'anic recitation - Importance
As salaam alaikum california rahmatullah, I was discussing the significance of acquiring an Ijaazah in Qur'an by having an Imam and, to my shock, he considered it nearly a waste of time. He explained that everyone has Ijaazah and everyone has Isnaad due to the truth that every Hafiz studied with a who studied with his teacher and etc completely to the Prophet of Allah (sallallahu 'alahi wa sallam). I didn't wish to fight with him, so I merely acknowledged what he explained and kept quiet. Nevertheless, I believe many will concur that usually there's when when a big difference in the caliber of recitation and Tajweed of one who'd Ijaazah compared to one who hasn't acquired a written Ijaazah/Isnaad. Also, was not the practice of Ijaazah bil Isnaad began from the full time of the Taabi'een and hasn't it been a disorder this 1 meets a particular standard before they may be given an Ijaazah bil Isnaad. Then please recommend if anybody has some words of wisdom with this subject, may Allah reward you all.
