SAHIH Islamic Guide 031, Number 5920: ...O people, I'm an individual. I'm about to get a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in answer to Allah's contact, (might bid good-bye to you), but I'm making among you two hefty things: the one being the Book of Allah by which there's correct direction and light, therefore hold fast to the Book of Allah and stick to it. He exhorted (us) (to put on fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The 2nd would be the people of my home. Sahih Muslim: Guide 031, Number 5920: Yazid b. Hayyan noted, I went along side Husain b. Sabra and 'Umar b. Islamic to Zaid b. Arqam and, once we lay by his side, Husain believed to him: Zaid. You've had the opportunity to get a great advantage that you found Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) paid attention to his chat, fought by his side in (various) struggles, provided prayer behind me. Zaid, a great virtue has been earned by you in fact. Zaid, narrate to us that which you noticed from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him). He said: I've grown old and have nearly used my age and I've neglected a few of the points which I recalled regarding the Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him), so take whichever I narrate to you, and which I don't narrate don't force me to do that. Then he said: 1 day Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) stood as much as provide sermon at a watering place referred to as Khumm located between Mecca and Medina. He extolled Him, recognized Allah and sent and to the sermon. exhorted (us) and said: Now to the goal. E people, I'm an individual. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The secondare the members of my home I tell you (of your obligations) to the members of my loved ones. He (Husain) believed to Zaid: Who're the people of his home? Aren't his wives the people of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who're they? Thereupon he said: 'Ali and the offspring of 'Ali, 'Aqil and the offspring of 'Aqil and the offspring of Ja'far and the offspring of 'Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the approval of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guide 031, Number 5923: Yazid b. Hayyan reported: We visited him (Zaid b. Arqam) believed to him and. You've discovered goodness (for you'd the honor) to reside in the organization of Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) and offered prayer behind him, and the relaxation of the hadith is the same but with this specific variation of text that rest said: Behold, forI am making amongst you two large issues, one of which is the Book of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, and that's the rope of Allah. He who holds it fast would be on correct advice and he who abandons it'd maintain error, and in this (hadith) these terms are also found: We said: Who are amongst the people of the home? Aren't the wives (of the Holy Prophet) included between the people of his house hold? Thereupon he said: No, by Allah, a lady lives with a guy (as his wife) for a particular period; he then divorces her and she dates back to her parents and to her people; the people of his home contain his ownself and his kith and kin (who're linked to him by blood) and for him the approval of Zakat is forbidden.
