As-salaamu 'aleykoum, I'd prefer to ask a question regarding Shi'as. I apologize if I appear foolish, contemplating myself a and still being confused about Shi'ism! Simply to explain, my mother & her part of the household are Iraqi Shi'as. I'd perhaps not consider them quite severe as her 4 other siblings & my mom are committed to Sunnis. Nevertheless, I actually do hear their as well of side! Even though we don't actually 'conflict' often, I've had a tiny debate regarding Aisha RA with my mom once, heard my grandmother mentioning the tiny need for some sahabas etc., my cousin mocking Bukhari texts and etc. I do get annoyed from reading a few of the things they say, I don't get affected, and I've been more persuaded playing my father's perspective and all of the students and shiyukh I enjoy & lookup to, including my precious shaykh, are from Ahle Sunnah wal Jama'ah. Ok, therefore my problem listed here is that, I've hardly ever really noticed immediate conflicts of the Shi'a statements! For example, Shi'as declare that (at the very least from what I heard individually) when Abu Bakr RA was being chosen whilst the Caliph, Imam Ali RA was burying Prophet Muhammad SAW. All I heard from the Sunnis I've questioned concerning this was, this isn't correct. And nothing else. What do our sources say? My 2nd question is in regards to the Ja'fari madhab. What my grandmother often complains about is why there are 4 madhabs and perhaps not the Ja'fari madhab alone, because Jafar al Sadiq was the instructor of the 4 imams (how accurate is this?) and, even when he was not, why is there an issue with following the theories of the descendant of the Prophet & somebody respectable among the Sunnis? What I noticed is that his work was gathered greater than a century after his death. A Shi'a reaction I'd for this was 'what exactly '? I suppose the stability of the gathered work could be vulnerable. Ultimately, I usually hear my grandmother stating Imam Ali RA was mocked during khutba for 70 years. What's she referring to?! I thanks truly ahead of time for reading & for all of the thoughtful reactions. I'd the same as to note that aside from this issue, her family and my mother have always taught me to have excellent manners, be thoughful all the time & I've always felt near to them. Therefore, (not that I'm saying anybody would however it can be done), please I'd be pleased if you will find no unpleasant remarks fond of my loved ones. JazakumAllah khayr!
