May anybody shed some light on Mufti Menk. Some one mentioned to me he has encountered criticism from some ulema in Zimbabwe/South Africa. If there are any friends from that section of Africa, is it possible to offer some understanding, insha'allah. The reason I'm wondering is that I've heard such a thing out-of the standard and have heard several of his classes.
