As-Salamu Alaikum, So far as I've ever discovered there are not any rakats prior to the fard of Maghrib. I've been on safari recently, an a few masjids which I've visited had numerous people following the Maghrib Azan was named preforming two rakats. It should be some thing away from Ahl Sunna california Jaamat.
