Default Still another Q regarding Shi'a perception
Early in the day my grandmother was reading me some areas from Muhammad al-Tijani's guide 'Shi'ah Hum Ahl Al-Sunnah.' It wrote that Abu Bakr (ra) & Umar bin Khattab (ra) burned ahadith, of allegedly about Ahle Bayt & a danger for their place. She continued to inform Ali (ra) to me was pushed aside and mocked throughout the caliphate of the 3 early in the day caliphs. I do not prefer to fight with her, so all of the time I listened. She raised a place about exactly why is it that people never hear of ahadith read by Ali (ra) & the remaining household members. Really I'm interested in that time. How come that so? The book also talked about the way the sahabas 'teamed-up' from the Ahle Bayt and hired Mu'awiya (ra) in Sham & held him around even though they were conscious of the strain between Ali (ra) and Muawiya (ra). Even though I attempted to tell her that the sahaba (and particularly Abu Bakr, Umar & Uthman (ra) had a unique position alongside Prophet Muhammad (saw) and our sources vary from Shi'a sources, she nevertheless gave me the touch that afterall, they were all the same & Ahle Bayt were haq (again, as if we refuse the high position of Ahle Bayt but anyway.) I looked only a little on the situation of Abu Bakr (ra) & Umar (ra) burning ahadith, but I didn't wish to confuse myself too much with various links, so I'd much appreciate it if you are able to shed light on this state & what the real account is. JazakumAllah khayr, thanks ahead of time.
