from gulfnews "While Meat One and Emly & Chilli will open today, the J. boutique will open its doors tomorrow."

Do they (Emly & Chilli) have more than one branch ? i'm aware of one near lamcy plaza, behind barbeque delights and that was opened long time back :S

And there is one company from Brasil called Perdix. They mention on their products that its "Hand slaughtered as per Islamic rule & 100% veg. fed to the chickens"

Any confirmation on this ?

@pakistanis, all these threads on doubtful meat in muslim countries make me think whether we are taking the issue of halal meat for granted in pakistan, especially eating mcdonalds, hardees, etc, and even local restaurants??

These days im into Madfoun.. dont worry thats not another Kashf e Quboor joint.. its the new Yemeni restaurant on the corniche.. it seems they bury the Lamb.. ( mayb they get kashf when its ready to eat..thts a controversy actually).. but tastes awesome.. ull luv it

yeah and their Kunaaf ( vermacelli dessert) tastes well too..

hey ive always liked the barelwi kheer.. they make it good on gyarwi shareef.. sadly few barelwis here.. and they suffer from identity crisis..

man 1 thing about brelvis. They know how to feed the people bro. You got to give them credit. Some yemeni brother fed me recently and Mashallah the Mandi was amazing bro Mashallah. It was alhamdulillah very very nice. The funny thing was the guy who had ordered had ordered for like 10 people and we got like 2 massive trays and we could only finish 1. The other tray had to be given away. Do those guys actually finish those massive portions? The somalians also give very very large portions of food. It's like 1 serving is enough for 3 people.

The good thing about Mandi is it has to be cooked with fresh meat.. a normal tray of Bait Al Mandi should be enough for both of us..
ive seen those large trays at Al yahyar mandi restaurant in Al Ain.. they should be enough for the whole family..

and the best way to bring back the barelwis is to beat them on the dastarkhwan.. thats the little politics we tableeghis indulge in sometimes..
