Default Dreams in Islam?
As-Salam Alaikum. I've had many dreams about various topics and I always learned that dream interpretation is haram because it's like fortune-telling, which is shirk. What exactly do the scholars say? Are there any taqwa on dreams, general or specific? I know certain prophets and pious people were given the ability to interpret dreams such as Prophet Yusuf (AS). I also know there are certain hadiths for instance, if it is a good dream you should tell others about it but if it is a bad dream you should ignore it and remember it is from Satan and seek refuge with Allah (SWT). Is there anymore to dreams in Islam beyond that?
