any help guys?
Don't give him Sahih-ul-Bukhari or else he may think it is sunnah :P (kiddin ...). All the hadees in Bukhari are about standin and urinating. Correct me if I am mistaken.

to the OP

Yes, the Messenger (saaw) relieved themselves standing as well as sitting. Maybe if you're careful, standing is permissible ? - or if you have any other problem ? But I agree sitting is the safer option (re. splash-backs).

Default urinating while standing - info required.
:salam:

at the mosque i walked in on a brother in the toilet. for those wondering the door was unlocked!

anyway, i informed the brother that he shouldnt urinate while standing as he will most likely soil his clothes, not
empty his bladder properly, and it is best to use water.

he admitted that he often feels wetness after going to toilet so some urine probably comes out after he has left toilet.

anyway, i want to provide the brother with some booklet that deals with why we should not stand whilst urinating and especially
why we should not soil our clothes with urine as it has been warned against and this is the main reason people will
be punished in the grave.

i should mention that this brother does not understand english, only urdu.

i would be grateful if links to articles online could be provided or names of books i could buy that deal with this topic.

only in urdu please.
