Sharp Rise in Number of Opiate Babies in US

So dear America,
You must be doing some thing wrong.
And this is something that can not be blamed on Fidel Castro.
It can not be blamed on Hugo Chavez.
It can of be blamed on Tim Osman.
Only you are to be blamed for that.
And it is not a physical condition only - drug abuse.
It is mental and emotional and spiritual condition also. Condition of sickness.
Heal thyself, cure thyself.
Your values are wrong.
Do not impose them on others.
Adopt Islam - it is the system give by our Lord.
And it is your choice.
On us the only responsibility is to communicate.

Hazrat, your effort of sending a good message to America can be compared to- draining off an ocean with a bucket.

Now that is oven fresh. Actually the down fall of the US has already begun akhi. It is cosmetic surgery that is keep the look of the bride youthful. Now is the time to talk about the welfare of that country - a chunk of our Ummah resides there and honestly when I read or view the news about happenings in that society it really leads to slipping away of ground beneath my feet. And this happens in spite of the other reality of Abu Gharaib, Bagram, Guantanamo Bay and what they are doing in Palestine. At personal and social level they are suffering much more than us. They, unfortunately, are already half way through hell. You might have seen a thread at another forum about American sickness - I do not have the courage to read beyond a post or two.

Hazrat, your effort of sending a good message to America can be compared to- draining off an ocean with a bucket.
Nothing to worry Dada (yeh, yeh now call me Hazrat).

Lately following realization has been bugging me. Whatever happens in this world it might have some causes behind it but those causes are only to keep the cause and means paradigm in place by the exalted wish of Allah (SWT). In reality these cause are pathetically insufficient to cause the effects. I know that in my personal life and I see the same thing around me. I'll close with one public example.

What can a slap by a policeman do?
Nothing much - apart from compromising somebody's dignity.
But that fateful slap did have the avalanche effect.
Tunisia changed in front of our eyes. In fact it just changed, we came to know of it later that it has changed. This is my personal perspective because even big news may not, nowadays, stimulate you enough to go into the details of the news.

So Tunisia had its metamorphosis. And then the ball rolled on. And we had the Arab Spring. Too many people got shaken up. At least a lot of people got shaken up. Many formerly strong and well grounded systems do not look that strong any more. Even the Zionist perfidy in the Gulf was shaken up. Even US did has fears of something happening in their own streets. In India too there were fears and the fears are still there to some level. All this happened because of that simple cause. Clearly the cause is rather miserably feeble to explain the whole juggernaut.

And hence the motivation to keep doing our bit. We are weak and our Lord knows that - He (SWT) made us that way. Then He (SWT) gives us some toys to entertain us - the toys in the form of small and big successes. And the real success is the ticket to Jannah. That too shall come merely by His Mercy but combined with some cause, just like a toy, to please us. Perhaps that is the reason that, Lord Most High willing, we shall be pleased with Him. That is the great success. May Allah(SWT) grant us that ticket.

News : Clinton 'hurt' by charges of anti-Islam US bias

The statement, or the sentiment, comes out of either shallow duplicity or naivete.
Neither of these qualities is endearing. And that is the focus of this thread. To find endearing things in the US of A. You have missed another opportunity Signora.

News : Hillary Clinton presses India to cut oil imports from Iran

Perfidy takes you to a wrong destination. The unipolar world is gone and the reality is multi-polar. You are talking to India which is by now only marginally more pliable as compared to China. You have lost the love of Muslim world - why risk the love of India?

It is better to be non-flippant. That is the thought that was coming to my mind for some time. Time is a blessing and it is better utilized in productive things.

My bad in that case.
Actually I keep criticizing the US.
But it consists of real human beings. And then there are Muslims too there. And some of the users here are are from that land. I sort of felt awkward in my position as a critique of US in their presence. They are good Muslims and obviously they are not comfortable with US policies and actions that affect Muslims.
And then there are genuine problems in that country - the type on which I focused in the OP. As a human being I really feel sorry for that society where they do not really know the solution to very significant problems in spite of their technological prowess. So I created this thread to bring it to the fore that we Muslims are well wishers of the US. No matter what they think of us or in whatever way they perceive us. We as Muslims are duty bound by Allah (SWT) and that includes the fact that we are the followers of Mercy to all the worlds. Clearly he (PBUH) was mercy to the New World also. We can implement that by being kind to them. Hence the present thread.

Maybe you should join the many Americans who criticise their ruling elites and their government.

“… the modern corporation as an institution is entitled to much more
respect than it has frequently received. The dangers inherent in its use
are also great enough to require serious attention. The possibilities of its
continued development are, so far as one can see, unlimited. It is, in
fact, an institution at a cross road in history, capable of becoming one of
the master tools of society—capable also of surprising abuse; worthy of
the attention of the community as well as of scholars.”

I am not sure it is a good thing for Muslims that America is in decline and China is on the rise, in many ways China is more oppressive than America. China owns a trillion dollars of American Treasuries, because these are being printed so much they are fast losing their value...China needs to dump these for real assets without causing a panic...it is a slow process...but the dollar is doomed. If Saudi started to trade their oil for anything but the dollar it would be the start of the end of Saudi or America would be in deep trouble.

Good points akhi.
And again my intention in the thread was to air views on genuine concern for the US - as you did in the last part in the post above.

Sorry that was my iPad, I assumed it would open up normally on desktops/laptops

Type in into Y??T?B? : What Would You Do - Racism towards Muslims in Israel ?

P.s. you might not like what it says 'cos it doesn't fit with current general Muslim thought.

White Births a Minority in US : News Item

As we have already told you dear US.
Give it a though where you might have gone wrong.

And no, no please do not start a blame-coloured-people game. That will be the wrong answer and wrong solution. Just review your values. The ideals ideals to your heart. Think about the values of the coloured people. Compare with your own values. You are quite intelligent - you 'll get there. Lord Most High willing.

27000 Jobs Gone
From a BBC report:

Hewlett-Packard, the world's largest maker of personal computers, is to cut 27,000 jobs by end of 2014.

Now what is the big tragedy here?
People will see trouble for 27000 people.
And they are right about it.
But there are some pages of the tragedy that are not on the radar.
Let try to turn those leaves.
Every single one of these is a bright person - cream of cream.
This should come as a hammer - an additional hammer for 27000 is already a big number.
Then there is another possibility - all of them are likely to be young.
They shall bear the scars for the rest of their long life.
Then there is another tragedy that we have been carrying with us without realizing it.
An earning member is supposed to be supporting a family.
In modern times this seems to be unlikely because the report is from a western company and the west has destroyed the family long back. In India, the whole sub-continent, one person would be earning and the rest of the family will survive on that. It may look like a lesser tragedy that only one person is on the street but in reality nucleation of one more family is precluded by each job termination.
And finally there is one more big tragedy is hidden in the news.
West has become blind to this tragedy though it is as apparent as an elephant in the drawing room.
Company is laying off people in the name of "productivity initiative designed to simplify business processes".
This can be read off as a thinly disguised euphemism for giving more work to less number of people.
A thorough extraction of people's capacities.
This may sound like a good strategy but it is in reality a horror scenario.
Man is human and man is not a machine.
Over utilization of man's capacity to work leads to break down - physically also but more likely psychologically.
Hence the prevalence of psychological disorders in the west. West is already in a crisis in this regard but perhaps has not realized it.
To conclude, those who will retain their jobs are no better situation.
In summary we have a huge inconvenient news.

And some people might ask about the solution. Well some in the west are already using the word austerity. Unfortunately the rest of the west takes it as an insult. And it is difficult to blame them. You inject the people for centuries with the ideology of materialism and then you say austerity!

Bad things happen to us, some times, because of our bad deeds.

Here is an article about worst things that might happen to us.

These bad things might happen any where but majority of the reports are from Europe and the US.
May be it is because the reporting is better in those places.

Let us work together to make the world safer from this type of calamities.

And Allah (SWT) is the helper.

Default To America With Love.
Mere negativity does not take us very far.
Positive approach should do better, Lord Most High willing.
Do we have something to offer to them?
A lot, by way of admonition.
So go ahead and do that - in the most beautiful (ahsan) manner.

Here is a miserable example by yours truly.

Dear America, you get usual very frequent shootings.
This is very sad and unfortunate as well as very painful.
In most of the cases it is also inexplicable.
Inexplicable in spite of all your advancement in so many fields.
May we offer some help?
The modern materialist way of life has stretched limit of human capabilities.
As an sport, for one time events, it perhaps is alright to stretch your limits.
But as a way of life it is counter productive.
The lust for more and more amenities, better commodities, progress, to out do and out perform others is bad.
One should try to be moderate in indulging in the worldly things.
This will lead to a reduction, huge reduction, of demands on our human capabilities.
If this can be done then Lord Most High willing it will lead to relaxation of nerves - for individuals at personal as well as social level.

There are many other things that we can say to you but this one is amongst the most crucial ones.
Try to incorporate it in your national, social and individual psyche - it should lead to wonderful results, Lord Most High willing.
