Default Marriage half of Deen??
Just a question I like to ask. I know of the hadith that speaks of marriage being half of our deen. I never really understood this. I know their is definite wisdom in it, but would appreciate if someone could please explain. I am not anti marriage just something I like to understand better.

What happends to people who never got married, will they be deficient in practising their religion??

Thanks

Marriage i agree is important but does anyone know of any services where we can complete half our deen. Its so hard to be introduced to people nowadays. It's as if Muslims have forgotten this obligation.

You can try a site called halfourdeen.com (interestingly-enough in the title of this thread). It's slightly different than your typical 'dating' or 'matrimonial' sites and many practicing Muslims and Muslimahs are on there looking for pious spouses. However, as with anything else, be careful and use your discretion... not everything is as it seems online.
