Syria could trigger a regional war if the US and Britain are considering invading as it seems like they are doing. Recently they both said that Syria might use chemical weapons which indicates that they might do more. Iran could be attacked as well, and Russia and China might even get involved because they are allied to Iran. It is a very dangerous situation.
