I had a chat online recently with one who actually belive .... belive mind you that most muslims through out the 14 century have died on the wrong Aqeedah and without Iman and real true Islam in their lives . Only they have found true islam in the last century or so .

He used Quran verses describing Kafirs in Mecca to justify in his mind how he thinks most people are Mushrikin and kafir and only a few like him are on the truth .

Strange people .... I am sure most of them are not that hard lined... but still it makes you wonder how mean people can be in their views about Allah . About Allah's love for his creations and Allah's love for this Rasul and Rasul's Ummah.

sir i hope you are not making the same mistake regarding salafis that i made some weeks ago: of putting all of them in one basket based on our 'experiences' with some of them.
i still don't think it is a good idea to become salafi (esp the extreme ones). yet having looked into the matter in some depth one can say there are many flavors of salafis.

what you mention seem to be some extremist group which are going to be renounced by other 'salafis' as well. yet many would take him to be the representative of all salafis (many actually do think all of them are like that) and hate all of them.
