"Wudhu before sleeping:
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Umar Radhiyallahu Anhu that the Messenger of Allah SallAllaahu Alayhi Wa Sallam said, “Purify these bodies, and Allah will purify you. Whenever a person spends his night in a state of purification, an angel spends his night within his (the person's) hair and he does not turn over during the night except that he [the angel] says: O Allah, forgive Your slave, for he went to sleep in a state of purification.” (Tabarani) " Assalaamualaikum, there is a hadeeth (posted above) regarding the virtues of sleeping in the state of wudhu. I've also read that if one dies, one is recorded to die as a shaheed (Shaheed e ukhrawi ofc) Obviously one should try and always remaining in a state of wudhu bi idhnillaaah (any virtues mentioned in ahaadeeth though?), but what about a female during her haydh? Should she still keep up with it or could it be a means of wasting water since she technically isnt getting purified.. if anyone with knowledge of the answer can clarify plz! jazaakumullaah khair was salaam |
