Salaams,
you need to use high pass filters to try and take some depth out, or even centre on the voice channel. Even that needs software that can target frequencies within a specific envolope as opposed to just using a plain old eq. Bro, could you please tell me which nasheeds they are, and i will have a go. ![]() |

Removing vocals or instruments from music is much more difficult than it might seem. Each voice or instrument becomes inextricably mixed into the audio data, much like flour after it is cooked into a cake.
Hence, on many recordings the voice is mixed equally into the right and the left channels and it sounds to the listener as though it is in the middle between the two speakers, this is known as the 'Centre Channel'. There are a few programs that claim to be able to remove vocals or instruments from music but the results aren't satisfactory. You'll still be able to hear the instruments in the background and sound quality is average. |
