Default 4 Sunnis shot dead protecting Shias-22 killed.
SKARDU: Bodies of three, out of the twenty-two who were slaughtered at Babusar, were brought from the site of the carnage to Skardu and buried amid immense sorrow and grief.
*
The funeral prayer, led by leading religious leader Sheikh Hasan Jafri, was attended by about 50,000 people.
*
In his address on the occasion, Sheikh Hasan Jafri said that this is a heinous crime committed by terrorists as no sect allows such a despicable act. He said that these terrorists are not Muslims, let alone they belong to any sect. He urged the people to follow the true spirit of Islam and remain calm and restrained.
*
Those buried were identified as Hamid, Qari Hanif and Shabbir Husain.
*
According to an eye witnesses of the horrific incident, on August 16 some buses on way from Rawalpindi to Astore were intercepted at Babusar by about 14 terrorists wearing commando uniforms and carrying walkie-talkies while dozens of their fellow terrorists stood on the nearby hills.
*
They ordered the passengers to step down and started enquiring about their sect.
*
Those who belonged to Shia sect were taken aside and later shot dead in cold blood.
*
The total killed were 22, including four Sunni Muslims, who protested and pressed the terrorists not to kill innocent Shia Muslims.
*
One Sajjad who luckily saved his life said that fellow Sunni passengers did a good job by saving many lives otherwise all Shias would have been brutally murdered.
*
The terrorists even beat Sunni passengers and forced them to help in identifying Shias so that they could kill them.
*
In spite of that, the Sunnis did not cooperate with them, he added.
*
The same tactics were used in Kohistan in March in which a Gilgit bound bus was intercepted and 18 Shia passengers were slaughtered by terrorists wearing army uniforms.
*
Thirteen of those killed in the latest incident belong to Astore, three to Skardu,
*
two to Karachi, and one to Gujar Khan in the Punjab and three to Gilgit.
*
The Ulema of Gilgit, Baltistan and from all schools of thought condemned the incident and termed it a heinous crime and declared that terrorists are not Muslim, rather they are anti Muslim and anti-Islam.

This is undoubtly is a propaganda to defame the Mujahideen. Same is being done in Afghanistan nowadays by Kuffar and their allies.

Whatever the reality of the supposed propoganda it maybe against these faceless invisible "mujahideen", at the end of the day can we first agree in condemning and hating the killers whoever it maybe? Can we agree in saying that the killers need to be brought to justice and killed and their ideological mentors prisoned and that they are deserving of hard time in hell? Because these propoganda would be ineffective when those against whom the propoganda is supposedly directed do have a firm stance opposed to it.

These killing seems to be now a common happening and makes me wonder whether dajjal might emerge from Pakistan (being East of Arabia).

LOL what mujahideen? theres no mention of mujahideen, why so paranoid. It could be anyone, I thought it was a sad incident, but you dont even want to accept 22 people were murdered in cold blood. Obviously no Sunni would do it, why would any sunni kill 4 sunnis? But in ur zeal to defend mujahideen (btw there arent any in Skardu anyway) you totally missed the main part abt sunnis dying too. Shia leaders have condemned attacks and called it an attempt to spread sectarian violence by foreign agencies trying to destroy our pakistan. That theory makes sense since attackers killed both sunnis & shias.

What does a mujahid has ever to do with any of these politicaly motivated killings, and the attack on the Kamra base, or the suicide bombings, or any of those etcetc, this is definitly enemy funded thugs who are trying to hurt the muslims.

I don't think Kamra base attack was done by enemy funded anti Islamic agents. Pak army is gonna start an US allied offensive campaign. Then why T_l_b_n will not attack them?:

Sis, expressing grief isn't the main focal point of this sad incident. Always media is indicating their finger towards Mujahideen in case of any massacre. So automatically this thought has appeared in my mind. Its definitely a despicable act if slain persons are innocent. Brother "mh" made some good points on this relevant thread on post #2:
