In 2008 in Abu Dhabi my wife got burns after having henna done by a Lebanese woman who used to make a living from it there.

When she went to complain later she found that the woman had disappeared without even giving anyone their money back and that other people had been affected too.

Women have to be careful that nobody puts anything on them that has any doubt over who made it and its purity otherwise they may get 'henna' that has been mixed with all sorts of toxic chemicals. .

Why then are they announcing the news all over or most parts in Karnataka?
This is not a single masjid or single area happenstance....

People might be just warning about mehendi and most of them may feel some thing fishy as there are already many rumors spreading...

Anyway my doubt was correct.. So you hail from karnataka ?

Any number is sad. May Allah protect our sisters. You can never be too cautious with such things and perhaps less people were affected because of the reports. Allahu alam.

Sister Acacia for trying to save my face.
Allah SWT will reward you for that

But apologies are due, without excuses.
I didn't respond to Momin1's post yesterday as I wanted to wait a little bit more.
Fortunately this turned out to be a dud.

I'm sorry for the thread, I apologize to each and every member.
But I'll make it for you I'll compensate.
I had agreed to translate Ml Ali Miyan Nadvi rh's bayan, but I'll translate one islahi bayan of other top ulamah.
1 nasheed which I hope you'll like it [Urdu].
Some more.

I'm
Will be careful in the future

Lets agree to delete the thread after I have done a little of the above^
