Default Is this actually true?

at 2:00 this Shaykh says that Arabic has up to 300 different words or terms for "lion", is that true?

Sounds like an exaggeration to me, can any native speakers of Arabic or those proficient in the language clarify this?

If there are a 1000 words for Camel, I don't see why there can't be 300 words for Lion. The Arabs would create words to describe a Camel in all it's positions - e.g. there is one Arabic word for "A female camel that doesn’t drink from the watering hole when it’s busy, but waits and observes"

Check out this blogpost: http://www.arabglot.com/2011/02/how-...-camel-in.html
