Could someone explain this joke to me please? (He) fell from heaven, got stuck on a date? Anyway, Subhanallah. It is only through actions such as made by this brother that my own ancestors became muslim. Who knew what trials and tribulations they went through before they found Allah swt. Inshallah may he be a good pious muslim and spread the deen of islam further to his family and beyond. |

Aasmaan se gira khajoor mein atka..!! What you have provided is a literal translation of a famous Hindi/Urdu proverb. English equivalent of the proverb is - 'Out of the frying pen, into the fire' But in brother's case, it's reversal of the proverb. By accepting Islam, he has escaped a bigger problem i.e fire (hell fire), but he has got himself into another problem i.e Barelwi menace. Hence, out of the fire, he is now on the frying pan. P.S - Explanation of the joke ended in the first paragraph. Second part is just my observation. |

Hazrat, I realize your point you've written on another thread. Most of the Barelwis aren't aware of the takfir and hence we shouldn't generalize. But the main problem is propagation of Bidat. Another objectionable aspect is blindly hating Deobandis.

3 good things about dawati islami
1. they wear the turban which is a neglected sunnah 2. they are more friendly and less argumentative than other Barelvis 3. they are copying off the blessed work of tablighi jamaat (even though they deny it 1000,000 times)
