Getting rid of the head does not change anything. Just like when they got rid of Mubarak, nothing has really changed in Egypt, the underlying political structure that had Mubarak in power for so many decades is still there, changing the people will not change it either, neither will elections every 4 years. The whole structure needs to be dismantled so that a true Islamic government can be established. Cancel all debt obligations, close the central bank, introduce silver and gold currency...sack all the bureaucrats and civil servants.
In the case of Syria, Asaad has a powergroup behind him that needs to be destroyed, not just the man Asaad, guy with a unusually long neck. |
