But there is a very close thing in the Noble Qur'an itself. I am not conversant with the Arabic text so I can not quote. I'll appreciate if you can find it and post it here.

وَمَا عَلَيۡنَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡبَلَـٰغُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ

Surah Yasin, verse 17.

"And our duty is only to convey clearly (the Message)."

Perhaps what the Shaykh meant is that it is not Sunna to quote this verse after every bayan. I will ask him, Inshallah.
