The debate about assisted suicide has been reignited after the High Court ruled that two men with locked-in-syndrome cannot be legally helped to die.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...g-8053451.html This man who is unable to move any part of his body except his eyes after a heart attack wants to be killed, the British courts have denied them this. I am assuming Islam also says this...but does Islam allow the man to tell his carers to turn any machines off? Or is this not allowed? Should Muslim scholars write about this subject so that people like him can read something to gain contentment with their situation and maybe have eman? |
