As-Salamu Alaykum my dear brothers & sisters worldwide
![]() I've got a new video I've uploaded on my YouTube channel, by the mercy of Allah. I'm trying to change my approach dawah. I don't think being "in your face" to people works; I think we need a softer approach. I think we need to stay away from insulting others' religions, and I attempt to make my best to do so in this video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsJjrtCA0lw&hd=1 Please please please SHARE and SUBSCRIBE. |

As-Salamu Alaykum my dear brothers & sisters worldwide My impression is that we should apply all legal approaches to indulge in Dawah. You are using a bit intellectual approach. And personally I am not inclined to that. You are rightfully targeting the modern western audience and hence you are assuming that intellectual approach will be better. Well, yes and know. Yes because that is the western mindset - intellectual, inquiring, questioning, logical, rational. No because religion is a matter of heart. That is why in the Noble Qur'an Allah (SWT) has made our hearts the target of his message. He (SWT) knows it - He (SWT) created the heart. As beloved Prophet (PBUH) said - there is a piece of flesh in your body, if it is alright then everything is alright and if it diseased then all goes wrong. So what is the way out? Well use the intellectual bait to get the people hooked and then just focus on their hearts. Example? "Sir do you know why Islam is right and Christianity is abrogated?" "Oh everybody says his religion is the right one." "That is true but I am saying a different thing" "Really?" "Yes - I shall take only five minutes." Allah (SWT) sent messengers to guide people. To all the different people of the world. Jesus Christ (AS) was sent to the Jewish people. finally Prophet (PBUH) Muhammed was sent for us all. "O but you are jacking up his, Muhammed (PBUH)]s, status." "Give me two minutes to clarify that ...." |
