The unedited video interviews clearly show the scientists views on the matter. For example Bill Hay describes his interview like this
Zindani: If XXXXX would you say it was from the divine being? Hay: No, because YYYYY Zindani: What if XXXX and YYYYY were not true? Hay: No, because ZZZZZ Zindani, What if XXXXX and YYYYY and ZZZZZ were not true (and so on) Hay: Well, in that case I would say it was from the divine being......but you would need a lot of evidence to support your "what if" Cut out the underlined text and then make a video. In the video you say "When I asked Prof Hay what he thought was the origins of the Quran he replied I would say it was from the divine being" This is exactly what Prof Hay says in the interview on that channel. He says that Zindani outright distorted the interview. The same with Pete Palmer. Zindani said that Pete Palmer said that the Quran is light from Allah, yet Zindani never shows Palmer saying this and Palmer explicitly states that he said no such thing. It's not that I am forming a conclusion based on a lack of evidence, it is the opposite. The Zindani footage is clearly edited in a very dodgy looking way, and these interviews are 100% unedited and the scientists themselves claim that the event was trickery. |

The unedited video interviews clearly show the scientists views on the matter. For example Bill Hay describes his interview like this ![]() if it's proven as you said, then the websites that published the transcript should be informed and advised against putting it online. As per Zindani, if he did that, he should be notified of his erroneous methods and that the methods are actually detrimental to the da'wah. Btw, now I'm confused, I thought there was no Zindani footage doing the interview? Allahu A'lam. |

I'm glad that this thread was made because we need to never forget that we do not need to tell any lies or distort the truth in order to share the perfect message of Islam with the world.

Muslims should not falsely claim things in order to make islam seem more valud. It only gives the atheists a chance to expose the lies and appear to have won a victory in debate over teh muslims. We shoudl rely on truth, Allah is al Haqh (the truth), we dont need cheap tricks to try and win converts, it harms our cause if anything. we have many academics genuinely accepting islam and it doesnt make a blind bit of difference as to whether the qur'an is true or not. I agree not to use these tricks> Its like how people used false images in burma. Real atrocities were committed in burma and that was undermined by fake pictures
