Default I love Sheikh Seraj Wahhaj
I never really listened to Sheikh Seraj Wahhaj of New York talks until this Ramadan, but this Ramadan I have listened to several of his talks and along with a few other figures (ranging from Imam Malik to Sheikh Ahmad Ali) he has become a hero of mine.

He isn't a big scholar (as far as I know), he's 'just' a preacher but his taqwa, humbleness and his clear way of thinking and explaining things is amazing.

he's well worth listening to on Halal tube or You tube etc.

Well now adays we have loads of speakers in English back in the 1980's Imam Siraj Wahaj was the man and he was one of the pioneers. And no one could inspire the youth the way he does.

The Imam must be close to 70 years now I saw him live in the UK nearly 20 years ago and must've been about 50 years old then.

quite a few of his letures are available here http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct...P-xjSw&cad=rja
