Received this text earlier in the day:
Syria Emergency Crisis. Tauheedul Relief Trust (TRT) plans to distribute Iftar packs to families inside Homs. A £50 pack will feed a family for the whole month of Ramadan. Donate now http://www.tauheedulrelief.org/ 0800 0380 820 or text IFTR50 £50 to 70070. Text messages are free. TRT has a 100% Donation Policy. Kindly circulate. They seem to be doing good work and I think are the first Muslim children's charity. Does anyone know the people behind it? This link http://www.tauheedulrelief.org/about-us/our-people/ mentions Mufti Hamid. Is he the one on this AMS youtube clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qo_Lj_u3FjQ It also mentions two Moulanas. Can someone please confirm if they know the people behind this charity and whether its reliable. |

Mufti Hamid and Moulana Munir are well known in Blackburn. They are running this charity and are doing good work with schools. See www.tighs.com as well. |
