If only someone like Umar ibn Khattab (RA) was alive, he would have lashed out the living daylight out of these racist idiots. Instead, because this is going unchecked, we have a whole generation of Saudis growing up who think they own the world.
May Allah guide the Gulf Arabs and make them into pious leaders of the Ummah. |

We all know that Indonesia, a Muslim country was severely perturbed by how the 'pure ones' treated their maids and workers. They barred further travel. I dont know if the ban is still in place. My country also did the same a few days ago after increasing number of violations of domestic workers. This kenyan Muslim has sent a video of how they have been detained and kept in saudia because he refused to work for his employer any more. Hasnt been very long but what little rahma they show when they fall into disagreement with fellow beings. Its not a new story though. and you should not tar everyone with the same brush. the way you keep referring to the Saudis as 'the pure ones' is sarcastic and seems a little prejudiced to me. |

and not every migrant worker is an angel either So now is the time to give a overall perspective on the situation so that either we put it behind us or, at least, file it among the to be solved problems. |

Insha'Allah - to be solved; along with the problems that drive Muslims to leave their homes, families and children to work in foreign lands in the first place. |

Everyone knows the King has a problem with the 21st Century. Human rights to him is an evil invention of poor, tortured people and how on earth could he take their word for it. Let's face it, it's not like they have an unbiased opinion. Well, they would say that, wouldn’t they? It is an obvious conflict of interest. As the King famously said on being questioned on his human rights abuses, "Torture never hurt anyone". I never hear you criticize the terrible tortures inflicted on Sunnis, Sufis and dissidents in Iran I never hear you criticize the terrible tortures inflicted on Sunnis by Hezbollah in Lebanon I never hear you criticize the terrible tortures inflicted on Sunnis by Moqtada al Sada Militia in Iraq |

No one forced them to go there? Getting required permissions and paying for flights etc are not cheap. The ones you are talking about are more likely to try to go to Europe as illegal immigrants or refugees. These things that are mentioned in this thread have been happening for years and they are very wrong. But people in the countries where the workers come from know by now that if they go there they are taking a big gamble on whether they will get human beings or devils as employers. It's extremely hypocritical for people leading comfortable lives to judge these poor people. The only people being judged here are the Gulf Arabs and someone who has tried to add a note of balance and fairness to the discussion. and I want to ask people... Do these abuse cases represent all interactions between Gulf Arabs and foreign workers? NO Do these abuse cases represent 50% of interactions between Gulf Arabs and foreign workers? NO Do these abuse cases represent 75% of interactions between Gulf Arabs and foreign workers? NO so people need to be careful how they speak about people and be careful not to slander a majority who do not abuse anyone by the actions of a minority that do. There are bad people in Saudi and UAE etc, but there are also just as many or more bad people in Pakistan, UK, America and every other country too. Admitting this and that things need to be done about it is good, but slandering whole nations by the actions of the bad people amongst them is not. The racist and Islamophobic Zionist media campaigns against the Gulf Arabs and the constant Rafidite poison is bad enough without Muslims joining in and stabbing themselves to death. |

Human rights are not Islamic.....Islam does not say humans have these rights...it just says Allah will judge you in akhira and punish you if you have harmed my creation unjustly.

I was wondering about the title of this thread. Saudia, 'a pious state' :O In general it is a "pious state" and the whole gulf too. But there are incidents happening which the state has to seriously handle. Experienced members can share their experiences on how to handle these issues. |

As my prophet said Mafum :- "we should not speak bad about Arab people" If so, please provide the reference, i myself have never heard anything like this. There are some employers in Gulf who dont like beard, some dont even like Hijab. Its not uncommon for girls wearing Niqab/Hijab to be turned down from jobs, and similarly brothers having Sunnah beard can be at a disadvantage. What I found is that many people from Levant regions (Jordan, Syria) and Egypt look down upon Niqab and Sunnah beard and it is often them (or the obvious nonMuslim) who object to workers practising. But yes this discrimination is less prevalent in Saudi Arabia then lets say the other Gulf states |
