We all know that Indonesia, a Muslim country was severely perturbed by how the 'pure ones' treated their maids and workers. They barred further travel. I dont know if the ban is still in place. My country also did the same a few days ago after increasing number of violations of domestic workers. This kenyan Muslim has sent a video of how they have been detained and kept in saudia because he refused to work for his employer any more. Hasnt been very long but what little rahma they show when they fall into disagreement with fellow beings.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dv_qSive-o by migration authorities I think these people are also a bit stupid. They can always keep the place clean by dumping everything in one corner. The bin however looks full. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0yg9...eature=related Another kenyan muslim died and body put in freezer. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f9UcD...eature=related Rough translation I went to saudi on 16th May 2008 The contract I signed was 1000 riyal, it changed when I arrived there to 600 riyal I worked there for 9 months When they will go to vacation before ramadhan they will lock the house and leave me inside If you are sick, they dont want to listen much, they will buy you panadol and that is the limit. she conveys a story about a philipino friend of hers whose boss was a lesbian who wanted to force her to have sex. When she refused, she was tied down and the boss lady cut her private parts. she subsequently died. She also told about how her boss always wanted to sleep with her so she could go to look for work elsewhere. she had to use story of father has died to come back to kenya and escape. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kvvvh...feature=relmfu Rukia Athman, another Muslim cries over the phone talking to Kenyan tv about how she has been detained in the house and not allowed to go back. So many examples are available make the news all the time several where violence and there was one recent case where a women was thrown off the balcony also by her 'pure' saudi master and broke both her upper limbs. I am not saying that these are cases which happen every day but they happen regularly to ignore. And the fact that two countries now have banned foreign workers shows that something might be wrong in how saudis view themselves and their foreign workers. There was a video about how a bengali was treated but someone deleted it. I dont know why. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=bBhhP3Wf7Do Anyways this is not a propaganda thread but that for self-reflection for saudis to better their ethics of treating others. |

![]() I wonder why no action is taken against these animals? They are muslims and they dont fear ALlah SWT. There is a murder case and why are these people not punished by the saudi law. It is quite shame. It is not just kenyans for I heard such stories from Indian side too. Horrible. Those masters who are good and God fearing are good but when one ends up with such animals, the life becomes a hell. Let Allah SWT help those muslims suffering in the hands of these oppressors and hold these oppressors into account. Ameen |

Whenever such stories emerge, many people get defensive and claim "not all Saudis are like that", "there are bad maids also" etc etc
The truth is that most employers are not bad, but the ones that are, too often get away with it. When a maid commits a crime, the authorities are quick to punish her, with execution sometimes There was a well publicised case where a Saudi woman tortured a maid to death, and the judge released her because of "lack of evidence", which is BS as no employer will torture in public. |

Assalamu alaykum
Moulana; In a similar situation how should a person defend himself. He can't consult his country's embassy. Language is a problem here. In most cases, these victims are illiterates. How should one help them. This problem exists in many gulf countries. Normally people migrate to gulf selling all their belongings and with debts which can be paid back by their one year Salary. Many migrate for the marriages of their sisters or daughters (never return for years) or to pay for the treatment of their nears and dears, they themselves get married in forties. The cruel masters seize the iqaama and passport, they can't even go to masjid. Contract is signed for thousand of riyals and finally they are paid with peanuts. Contract is signed for one type of assignment and made to do a different work. Out of frustration if someone argues, it is treated as assault on the master. Contract is signed for family visa and then denied. Many families commit suicides, How to give a message that Mazloom ki bad-dua se bacho!!! |

![]() I think the countries the victims belong should pressurize the saudi govt to take action. These animals should not be left like this. As far as zulm and the baddua, I really doubt they fear all these things. If they had any fear of Allah SWT, they won't even dare to think of such zulm. Good we have the Day of Judgement. |

![]() Saudis dont care if you tell them ill make baddua because they never accept they are wrong. They beleive we 'gentiles' are not humans. We deserve their beatings. If you tell them we'll see on yaum ul qayamah they say okay okay we'll see there no problem. But the real problem is not saudis. Its our governments. If our governments were strong saudis wont even dare touch us. There have been many instances where saudis said something to americans and the embassy intervened and the saudi police had to say sorry to americans. |

And then Abu Fatimah becomes upset when we criticize Saudia.
In Haj fire some years ago many people died. There were Indian people also among the casualties. India deputy Councillor or some officer of similar rank said that the live could have been saved if the in-charge of the tent lane had not locked the gate. Now figure out the action ensuing from here? Did the lane in-charge get the boot? No, the deputy Councillor had to do intense lobbying in India to save his job. Reason? Lane in-charge can not be at fault - he has been assigned by the king! |

Assalamu alaykum
Our honourable brothers in gulf should realised. Unlike other countries who have put efforts and evolved to be developed nations, wealth was gifted by Allah SWT to these brothers from gulf. It was not through MBAs and Economics expertise. Now if they try to be smart just because they have degrees from the Western countries, the equations is simple; if BARAKAH is withdrawn, Mayeeshathan dhanka!!!!!!!!! verily for him is a life narrowed down!!!!! |
