Default Successful long-term weight loss makes long-term fasts
Prolonged fasting is the only way to lose weight. I find them easy to stick to, and the weight has melted in the past. My long-term fasts do include 2-3x coffee with 3-4T of heavy cream half and a half (probably 400-600 cal), which helps me a lot to stay on the right track. So periodically I will do a prolonged fast, measuring ketones and glucose. But weight is never left out. Sure, my break between meals is terrible, but right now I'm the heaviest I've ever been, and I can't help but think that prolonged fasting has raised my point of reference. What is a healthy way to do long fasts and maintain weight after them or between fasts? I just heard Dr. Pompa talk in a video about how women re-consume carbohydrates a week before their period, which balances hormones, making it easier to lose weight during fasting. Has anyone tried this?

Well, I think it depends on each person's body and how it functions… Not everyone is suited to a particular diet, each person must find their own diet that works well for them. For me, I've tried a lot of diets, but the best ones for me are the calorie deficit and the Keto diet. When I was on a calorie deficit, I didn't lose as many pounds as I would have liked, but when I was on a keto diet, using https://kitodiet.me/ I managed to reach my ideal weight and was finally satisfied with how I look and feel great!
