Personally, I weight myself several times a day -- generally when changing clothes since the scale is right there.

I have collected enough data to see my daily fluctuations -- low in AM, second lowest right after work, highest after eating. I have a 2-3 pound shift over the course of a day.

I use the weights as data -- helps me determine if I am doing the right things. I do not panic or worry too much if my weight goes up or does not change. Again it is data.
