I tried a less expensive coconut oil. DO NOT BUY THIS!

I ordered it online before I found Trader Joe’s carries thier brand.



NOW Healthy Foods coconut oil is vile.



I have used Nutiva from my health food store and Trader Joe’s brand, both are light and a very nice taste, this one tastes like machine oil. I pity anyone who starts with this as they probably will stop buying it and never know the way good coconut oil should taste.

Mine is an organic one called Spectrum.....know anything about that one?

Oh, you know I've never thought of using coconut oil to up my fat and eat less protein, I'm going to do this starting tomorrow, maybe with olive oil though, I use coconut oil for my hair and skin, never thought of eating it . I just figured out that I am consuming over 56 grams of protein daily, not good as women only need 46g. I will make this change and see what happens, thanks!

Hi Patty,Good to meet you. I love coconut oil and use it when I cook my eggs, I stir it into one of my cups of coffee, uand se coconut manna as part of my evening snack. I use it to up my intake of fat and eat less protein.
