hrmm, not sure- don't know what a body bar is. But, the katami bar helps stabilize your muscles & makes it easier to keep in proper positioning while excercising. The kit comes with a 2 lb bar & a 5 lb bar, and it's a few payments of something9.99 (forget atm) LOL. Comes with like 5 different videos though....

The excercises from the infomercial videos look really really fun though - that's something that i struggle with - something that's excercise AND fun... or i don't tend to keep up with it... This just seems really cool, plus, looks very balance friendly... I've had some balance issues over the last year or so lol...

dangit i tried to type in the shape but this thing apparently ignores more than one space at a time, so it looked funny... ah, well. you can see it at katamibar.com - is that the same as a body bar?

Default Katami Bar System?
Anyone tried this or know someone who has? LOL saw the infomercial.. and it actually looked pretty dang fun! (& effective actually). Thinking of trying it, but, man is it pricey... anyone? i found the katamibar site but it's not overly informative... It was the movement of the folks on the infomercial that caught my eyeballs.

So, anyone? ?

would it be the same as a body bar? I know 2 folks over here using something called a body bar, a long bar thing that's weighted....they are both fitness nuts(one is an aerobics instructor). They both say it's fun and I might add they both have nice bods! It may not even be the same thing!! Anyway I should mention they had great bods long before they discovered the body bar.

How much is it anyway?
