Saturday

6 miles
1:02:43 (10:27/mile)

This was my 3rd best pace ever for this distance I've barely gone under an 11 min pace since I started this diet. This run kept all 6 miles under 11.

10.50/10.40/10.43/10.18/10.20/9.47

Week totals:
Running: 18.0 miles
Strength Training: 2h 02m 00s

Tuesday

5-mile run. It was 19F and the roads were still icey. There was no wind, so it wasn't too bad out. With all the snow and ice, I'm forced to run 1.3 mile loops around my neighborhood. This is mentally difficult for me. I'd rather run one big loop.

Monday

3-mile run. It was 24F and the slushy roads turned to bumpy ice. I took it very slow (35 min). I was able to run at 10am because of the holiday. I have 5 miles scheduled for tomorrow morning and it will be tough. My legs and feet are still sore from 5 miles on the treadmill on Sat, so I really want to take it outside. We'll see!

Thursday

4-mile run in 19F. Snow didn't come yet. It was nice and calm. I'm still forced to do loops in my neighborhood.

1 hour total body video - The Firm

I like this video because it incorporates both standing (leg presses on a 14" step w/10lb dumbbells) and floor (5 lb ankle weights) legwork.

My calves are a little sore from the dreadmill yesterday. It snowed some more last night. I'm hoping the roads are clear for Monday and Tuesday's runs.

Wednesday - PM

I decided to do my Abs of Steel tape tonight. It's a 15-minute intermediate workout, plus an additional 5-minute advanced for a total of 20 minutes.

The weather says it's supposed to be 13F and snowing for tomorrow morning's run. Ahh!

Wednesday

I didn't want to get up this morning. I have one tape (The Firm - Body Sculpt) that has a 15 minute lower body segment and a 15 minute upper body segment. I slept a little late, tellig myself that I'll at least get the lower body in and do the rest later. I ended up doing both segments for a 30 minute workout.

I also have a Firm tape called 5-day Abs, which has 5 5-10 minute ab workouts. I'm planning to do one of those after dinner. Right now, I have to get the kiddies up
