Amazing progress!!!!

It is wonderful that you have reached your goal!!

and it's even more wonderful that you have set a new goal for yourself rather than relaxing and taking it easy. It would be very easy for folks to attain their desires and then bask in the sun, without regard to the fact that they may be adding back the pounds.. But what you have done is wonderful..

Keep up the great work, and let us know how it goes!!

Default been a while since i posted
Hi everyone,
It's been a while since i've been here at the forum. I have reached 148 pounds, so i've lost a total of 58 pounds now. Since I'm at a healthy weight for my height, and feel good, i have decided to go for another goal. Two weeks ago I started running. I am training for a 10K that will happen next year. I am very new to running, but i love it already. I am training 3 days per week, and am currently at 3 miles for two days, and four for the third. Then on my off days, i cross train with my gazelle.
I'm really excited about this, and i have already set a goal for myself, which is a pretty big, maybe even crazy goal; I'm confident that i can do it though! I want to be able to run the 6.2 mile race in 40-41 minutes, which means I will have to be able to run roughly a 6.5 minute mile. I have a whole year, and am doing very well so far. I believe that Atkins will really help me with my training. No carb loading before runs for me!

The running will help you remain at a healthy weight for your size. In fact, it will doubtless improve your situation. What you are doing is the best possible habit you could build for yourself. I hope others will take that to heart too.

Good Luck!
