Default Why We Get Fat: Seeking Clues in Our Cells
"With hundreds of millions of obese people that we've got in our country now, physicians can't treat them all," says Dr. Michael Jensen, professor of medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. "We just don't have enough physicians."

Just shut down all the fast food outlets and millions of lives can be saved, also billions of health care dollars.

Yes because it's just a problem of overeating... Thank you Dr. Kelvin for such a mind blowing fucking revelation.

It is a combination of too much food, the wrong food, and less activity as one ages.

I am struggling to get anywhere near where I would like and have spent a year walking an average of over 20 miles a week. I am at a dead end and still at least 10 lbs over my target. That is with going to the gym for an hour 3 times a week also since November.

I am eating much better than I used to. I am not sure what more I can do and it gets depressing as if I don't have enough else in my life to bitch about

It would be great if they could figure out reasons why some people can easily lose weight while others can not. We are doing a biggest loser competition at work and I feel bad for some of the women because they exercise more than I do and eat healthy foods yet they are lucky if they lose a pound every couple of weeks.

Granted, the temptations from all the fast food restaraunts and heck even things in the grocery store don't make things any easier either.

I sucks to have a shitty metabolism. I know my activity is not what it was as I have a desk job for the most part but still you would think finally doing things right food wise and exercising would get you to normal.

Even if I lost 15 lbs I would be 10 lbs over what I was in my mid 20's

I been having meals at Mcdonalds, Burger King, Subway and KFC for years but I still maintain my BMI with regular workouts and jogs.

50 Heart-Stopping Hamburgers (Pictures)
Death by hamburgers? Most likely. If you ate every single one of these delicious looking hamburgers, you’d definitely be bound for a cardiac arrest. We hope you die happy!
