I have had two fingernails split into the quick lately. Any suggestions to strengthen nails. I keep them short by choice. Vits D A and B are VERY important to healthy skin, nails and hair...and they also curb carbohydrate cravings, help you digest fats better and naturally help you lose weight. ![]() ![]() |

If you don't mind wearing clear polish, Sally Hansen Hard-as-Nails works really well. |

If you don't want the shiny from the polish, you can use a growth treatment- it'll at least get that split out far enough that you can clip it. This is what I use- it soaks right in: Sally Hansen | Natural Nail Growth Activator Marine Extract Treatment
And crazy glue works wonders! I keep my nails fairly long and if it snags, I can glue it and it'll stay for a week or so until I can trim them all the same. |
