NO please do not attempt to clean or reuse the vials they are sterile and you do not want to inject anything into your body that is non sterile. I do not know how the product you are using but the RX has a vial of diluent and a vial of powder. You ad the diluent to powder and use out of that multi dose vial until it is gone then discard and begin a new one. I know I am a sterile product certified pharmacist and a little paranoid about everyone mixing their own HCG. We produce one in the lab and distibute it already made in a month supply multi dose vial It does have to be refirgerated but is premixed. All you need is syringes and needles. Jim

Jim I think mixing the hcg and giving the needles is a no brainer, once you know what to do. It isn't rocket science. ![]() |

our Dr does the 45 day program so we dispense the 45 day supply I understand your frustration if you are doing a 23 or 30 day program. Mixing it is no problem for most but freaks some people out at first. If kept refrigerated,, it should still be ok even after the assigned ex date. It might have lost some of its potency but would not harm you. We use the same solution for sublingual or injection.

Hi LynneR,
I had a friend in a similar situation. She solved it by mixing the huge amount of hcg she received, divided it into several new sterile vials via a mixing syringe (about what she would need for a round) and froze the mixed hcg vials. She took a new one out of the freezer as needed. They did not seem to lose any potency, as she was able to stick to the same dosage each time. My daughter also would pre-fill syringes and freeze those. Worked fine also. Just remember if you choose to freeze, to leave a little room for expansion of liquid. Hope that helps. |

The whole point is that the mixing vials come sealed for a reason. Like jbcsa said, anything you inject must be absolutely sterile. Try cutting corners by reusing things like mixing vials & syringes, & you will have problems a lot worse than needing to lose weight. People DIE from staph infections. Don't risk it!

I'll see if I can get a couple of vials from the local pharmacy, as that sounds better than freezing it in shots. Or I may just freeze them in a dropper bottle. ![]() |

So true!!!! Staph infections can be extremely dangerous! I certainly would not risk it.

Lynn, your doc mixes up large batches and counts out the syringes to dispense. Hcg in large quantity is much cheaper than in the 2000 iu bottles, when mixing large quantities....that's why he gave you what he did.
Ive frozen it before too, and it does ok. Remember to thaw it over night in the fridge. Ill also chime in on the sterility issue. I know the vials seem to be a bit pricey, and are in short supply in some areas. But there is absolutely no way they can be reused safely for injections. There is no way to clean the inside of them, and any hcg left in the vial would contaminate a new batch. Also, any infection that you would get would probably require surgical intervention to get rid of. Antibiotics won't reach the sub q fat area very effectively....so the point is, reusing the vial could cost about $15,000, or more. |
