Default Who uses MSM and does it really help with skin tightening?
Just wondering if this supplement really does help to prevent saggy skin?

I am getting ready to purchase Solgar Skin, Nails & Hair, Advanced MSM Formula. I am having some hair loss and want to nip it in the bud. I cannot speak to the saggy skin, but I am hoping to kill two birds with one stone so to speak. I will check back in once I have been able to take it for a couple weeks.

In the mean time, I hope someone else will chime in. I am curious....

I just bought a bottle today and took my first dose, so I am looking forward to testing the results. I already take some supplements, but I've heard good things about it. I'll definitely check in once I see some changes!

Im chiming in, I have been using the pure msm liquid form, for about 4 weeks now and my nails grow fast and strong and I was having hair loss due to hypothyroid and it's almost completely stop, I also use hair essentials for my hair also, I now have just normal hair loss, but I also noticed the crows feet around my eyes have wrinkles and those are starting to soften, so yeah it does work, I just use a tablespoon every morning in my coffee, I doesn't have any taste

WOW I would like it for the crows feet alone!!! I purchased the pills thinking of starting at 2000mg a day - hope that's right - I'm noticing that my knees are bothering me so I'm hoping maybe it will help with them too? I will get them next week so I'll also check in with results

The research about MSM seems to show it's very hepful for joints, and also for arthritis. I've also seen a lot of times that the MSM is combined with glucosamin and chondroitin, which is also really helpful for joints. Actually, when I was purchasing it at Whole Foods the lady helping me automatically assumed I was getting it for my knee joints, and recomended the blend that has the glucosamin because they work very well off each other. I ended up with just the powder as I'm really just taking it for my skin, but from what I've read it's a good companion with gluc/chond for joints.

I'm plagiarizing here, but this lady knows what she's talkin bout when it comes to getting rid of saggy skin!!LOLO

***Using MSM for sagging skin:
(In a spray bottle the MSM water gets cold, but if it doesn't bother you it might be easier)

I towel off, then mix a little MSM powder in a small glass with warm water, splash that all over me and let it air dry.
In the shower I use that pig bristle brush from Walmart ($4), sprinkle salt on it and scrub myself. Always start at the bottom of extremities and brush toward the heart.
For dry skin use a soft brush. Brush, brush, brush!

For hair loss you can take Biotin, but I gave up on that, I had hair sprouting out of all corners of my body, LOL. Hair will grow back by itself anyway.

*** how to dry brush your skin:I use these brushes that came with a shoe shine kit, they are soft and came in 2 different sizes. of course they weren't used!! but they are natural animal hair and only $8 at Marshals!!

This is from a website.DRY SKIN BRUSHING

It is WELL known that the Skin is the LARGEST Organ in the Body, and is responsible for one-fourth of the Body's Detoxification each day, also making it, one of the most IMPORTANT Elimination Organs! The Skin is also known as the "3rd" Kidneys and the Lungs are known as the "2nd" Kidneys. TOXICITY can gather beneath the Skin's Surface from such COMMON Influences such as IMPROPER pH levels in Body Soaps, Skin Creams and Anti-Perspirants, plus Synthetic Fibers worn NEXT to the Skin with ANY of them contributing to a variety of Skin Problems and Conditions.
When you do Skin Brushing, you HELP your Lymph System to CLEAN itself of the TOXINS, that COLLECT in the Lymph Glands. You use a Simple Technique to IMPROVE the Surface Circulation on the Skin and KEEP the Pores of the Skin OPEN, encouraging your Body's Discharge of Metabolic Wastes, and resulting in an IMPROVED ability to COMBAT Bacteria, plus HELPING your Skin to look and feel HEALTHIER and MORE RESILIENT! Skin Brushing is a PERFECT Treatment for SELF-HELP Enthusiasts.

  • Benefits:
  • TIGHTENS Skin.
  • HELPS Digestion.
  • REMOVES Cellulite.
  • STIMULATES Circulation.
  • INCREASES Cell Renewal.
  • CLEANS Lymphatic System.
  • REMOVES Dead Skin Layers.
  • STRENGTHENS Immune System.
  • IMPROVES Exchange between Cells.
  • STIMULATES the Glands, thus helping ALL of the
Body Systems to perform at PEAK EFFICIENCY!

  1. How To Do Skin Brushing:
  2. Buy a NATURAL, NOT synthetic, bristle brush, since it does NOT SCRATCH the surface of your skin.
  3. Buy a brush with a LONG handle, so that you're ABLE to get to the areas of your body, that are NOT EASY to reach, when doing your own Skin Brushing.
  4. Skin Brush, before showering or bathing, at least ONCE per day, and TWICE, if possible.
  5. Do NOT wet your skin, since it will NOT have the SAME Effect, because this stretches your skin.
  6. Do LIGHTER Strokes over and around your breasts, but do NOT brush the nipples.
  7. Brush each part of your Body several times VIGOROUSLY, COMPLETELY brushing your WHOLE body.
  8. Brush the soles of your feet FIRST, because the nerve endings there affect your WHOLE body, next Brush your ankles, calves, and thighs, then brush across your stomach and your buttocks and lastly brush your hands to your arms.
  9. ALWAYS skin brush towards the heart.
  10. Do circular counter-clockwise strokes on your abdomen.
  11. Take a WARM bath or shower, which should always be followed by a COOL rinse at the end to INVIGORATE blood circulation and STIMULATE surface warmth.
  12. Wash your brush every few weeks in water and allow it DRY.

You can have substantially effectual outcomes through surgical procedures. But, they're comparatively not very safe and also patients spend a longer period to regain their health. Many people understand that the best skintensing treatment require surgery but these have reduced importance now due to the several non operative approaches accessible.
