Ok, I posted in the "newcomer" forum and just wanted to get more opinions on my situation. I'm on my first round vlcd4 and I have been starving for four days. I am getting prefilled syringes from a clinic that I'm injecting into my stomach and the nutritionist told me today (after I emailed her) that I'm taking 175 iu. I was previously on phentermine on and off for the last two years, which I'm sure has messed up my metabolism and could possibly cause problems? Anyway, I started out at 327 and I'm down to 319 already, but it's been a hard road so far! My nutritionist suggested I give myself half the syringe for a couple of days and see if that helps, and I was also given the advice to skip a day and then start injecting 125iu. I'm really confused about what I should do! I definitely will not be able to continue with this incessant hunger, it's making me miserable! Any help would be appreciated!
I wanted to add that I have a reduction in hunger in the evenings (not a complete reduction but MUCH better than during the day). My worst time is the stretch between breakfast (herbal tea) and lunch---I feel like I'm going to die! |

The problem is the dose is too high most likely. That's a very high dose. You should skip a day and see how you feel by mid to late afternoon. You should feel better by evening. If you're much better, I'd take it down to 125, given the extent of your hunger. It sounds like it's much too high. You could eat one of your fruits for breakfast too. Good luck!

Thank you Colleen! I did a skip day and felt much better, the hunger pretty much went away. I injected myself this morning with 125iu and I'm kind of struggling again, but not nearly as severely as before. It has been about 3.5 hours since I had lunch and I am getting revenous. My stomach is growling as I type this. I have been losing very consistently, over nine pounds in six days!, but I started out very high, at 328. Anyway, I'm wondering where I should go from here? Should I try lowering my dose further or upping it? Thank you so much for your help!
