Default Increasing dosage question
Hey all,

I am R1P2VLCD5. I have been using 150 IU Sub-Q (.3 mL), but I noticed I get pretty hungry and I can't wait for my next meals. I feel like my dose isn't enough and want to start tapering up. I plan up increase by 1 unit ( 5 IUs) until I find the dose that controls hunger better than the current dosage.

My question is, how long should I wait to increase my dose before I decide the current dose doesn't work? For example, if I increase my dose to .31 mL tomorrow, and it doesn't help with the hunger issue, should I increase to .32 mL the next day or go at .31 mL for at least a couple days before going up?

Thanks!

You could need less or you could need more. The best thing to do would be to skip a dose and see how your hunger is that evening. if it's better then take it down a bit and give things two or three days. If it's the same, worse or hard to tell, then increase it a bit and give it a few days.

I actually didn't skip a dose, but started to taper up. I'm @ 160 IU and I am less hungry with it, so I guess I can assume my dose was a bit too low. I may increase it to 170IU in a couple days and see if the hunger subsides more. If it doesn't, then I'll probably stick with 160.

Thank you for your advice

Unbelievable enough, HCG doesn't work on a more-is-better scale... most hunger issues are really caused by too much HCG. If you notice a change in hunger, def. try and skip a dose instead? Beth once explained that the current level of HCG in your body is always the average from the last four days - which is why a skip day is so helpful to really bring the level down when needed.

I feel your pain, since I haven't found my 100% sweet spot yet this round. But hunger is mostly in check, just not as perfect as it was last round. Oh, and I am down from 150iu the first round to somewhere between 110-125iu this second round.

My doctor/cousin told me to increase my dose. I was at .6cc I went up to .7cc my hunger stopped. I see some are saying wait a day.... I didn't and my hunger went away and I had a HUGE increase in energy the day of my increase.

I was doing .33 dose and was not just hungry, but after about 10 days I started vomiting after I ate dinner. Grammy told me to skip a day and she was right. I went down in doses a couple times and am doing .25 and don't get sick or hungry anymore.
