Default how critical to measure veggies?
Just wondering others thoughts on measuring veggies? I started off doing so, but now I'm having a really hard time doing it and wondering really how many calories one can over do it by eating a serving until full.

(I should qualify this by I generally eat only greens, cucumbers, asparagus, it maybe be easier to overdo it on some other less filling veggies.)

You don't have to measure them. But if you're hungry, your dose is off.

Have you heard if mushrooms are approved, if not any reason why not??? I have been using them often, ie in my egg/egg whites, now I realize they are not on the list of approved Veg.

they are not on the list. It's useless to ask why. Dr. Simeon tested everything. Remember this is not a DIET. It's a hormonal therapy that works very differently from calories in/calories out.

Nope, I think I finally found a good dose...took a little tweaking
But I don't feel hungry except when I should, and I'm satisified with a 3-4 oz serving of protein and 'handful' of veggies First time in my life I don't feel like I need to eat for the sake of eating, thank you HCG!!!!!

Thanks for your help Grammy!

The best day of my first round was when I read a post by Grammy that said I did not have to measure veggies. It made
everything so much easier! Good luck to you shebear!

I'm a fan of measuring EVERYTHING! I find that if I do not, I actually eat less of the veggie than I should. Since I am on my 6th round, I have learned what works for me, which is 50 calories of my selected veggie. Now if only I could learn to not go back to "old habits" after the diet...
