Hi Grammy!
Ive found you so informative!! I suggested buckwheat groat as healthier alternative for oatmeal but wanted to know if you think it's ok for P3 since its a fruit not a grain and wheat free. So no strach or sugar. (30g carbs tho per serving). I like Mill's organic creamy buckwheat hot cereal. Thank u!! |

Thanks, good to know. Is a cup of vegetable broth dilluted in lots of water ok to stave off hunger in p2? There's sodium and of course not on protocol but wanted to know your thoughts :-) |

no idea if this is better for hcg, but when I did south beach diet I opted for steel cut oats because they were less processed, higher in fiber, and they had a lower glycemic index. something worth looking into for P4 on hcg. when on south beach, I added truvia or splenda, a bit of skim milk, cinnamon, a few sliced almonds and a half a cup of blueberries or raspberries.
